As a portion of a new web site for South Nassau Communities Hopital, Daphnia developed and deployed a custom search engine. Doctors, patients, and healthcare professionals who continually use the web site require a robust search engine to direct them to the information they need.

The organization is also actively involved in recruiting nurses from around the world. In order to bring the community of recruits together, Daphnia developed a forum, fostering communication from distant locations. The forum also provided an effective medium for hospital staff to disperse information, as well as respond to questions.
