For over 50 years, Greenway Companies has been active in all facets of real estate development in Bergen County, NJ, Passaic County, NJ, and Orange County, NY. With a portfolio exceeding 4,000 homes and offices, Greenway is familiar with both residential and commercial development. The company hired Daphnia to design, develop and deploy a web site for the purpose of extending marketing services. The primary goal of the site was to provide interested buyers with an overview of Greenway homes and offices. Studies indicated that most users would be first or second-time home buyers in their thirties and forties; the site was designed specifically for this demography and included a series of photographic galleries and floor plans.

The project was completed in a single phase during which Daphnia developed several core components for both web site users and administrators. Users were provided with photographs and information for many completed Greenway projects. For current and future projects, a tool was developed to allow users to zoom in and out of unit floor plans. Furthermore, a search engine assists those who want to search for particular kinds of real estate and prices. From the administrative side, a content management system was developed to allow Greenway employees to adjust web site content, including text and images.
